In 2014 and 2015, the Swiss watchmaker opted for an uncluttered campaign that strictly focuses on the product, leaving all superfluous elements aside. The timepieces are beautifully portrayed standing proud against a black background, revealing their character and charisma, and the result is of remarkable beauty and simplicity. Sober, elegant and reduced to a minimum, the campaign strikes the viewer and highlights the particular appeal of each collection, as well as the powerful and elegant design of the watches, with their perfectly proportioned volumes and refined materials.

The link, which for RAYMOND WEIL unites watchmaking, art and music, also finds expression in the few words associated with the campaign: “Precision is my inspiration”. Much more than a simple slogan, this sentence is a real leitmotif for the Brand, which, like an artist, a musician, a sculptor or a painter, derives its inspiration from the precision of the movements, repeated so often to the point of excellence.


Through its new film, RAYMOND WEIL reinforces its attachment to music while emphasizing expertise and know-how and highlighting the care with which each timepiece is conceived, designed and built. Precision and attention to detail set the tone throughout the creation process. The film takes the viewer through a highly emotional journey along the creative process of both watchmaking and musical objets d’art. The Brand’s values of excellence and craftsmanship are also strongly portrayed.
