A RAYMOND WEIL affiliate in Bangalore
The history of RAYMOND WEIL and India began over 30 years ago, under the influence of Mr Raymond Weil himself. At that time, the independent family watch manufacturer was quite a pioneer, as it was the first Swiss watch brand to penetrate this market at that time in full expansion. This country’s extremely rapid development and the clientele well-informed in watchmaking matters make India a priority today among the Brand’s international developments. The much awaited opening of the distribution affiliate, RW INDIA Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore, marks a decisive stage and confirms RAYMOND WEIL’s grand ambitions.

First exclusive RAYMOND WEIL boutique in Delhi
On 10 June 2010 in Delhi, RAYMOND WEIL created the occasion with its inauguration of its first exclusive boutique (one of the largest in the world), in association with Johnson Watch Co. Historically the first RAYMOND WEIL distributor in India, this name has been very prominent in luxury watchmaking since 1950. The opening of the boutique was followed by a prestigious soirée, which took place at the Sheraton in the presence of His Excellency Mr Philippe Welti, Swiss Ambassador and Mr Daniel Freihofer, Economic and Social Affairs Councillor. Many journalists and VIPs were also present, together with Mr Olivier Bernheim, President and CEO of RAYMOND WEIL, notably Rajul Jain – fashion designer, Harmeet Bajaj – choreographer and Abdul Halder – couturier.

Hyderabad on time for RAYMOND WEIL

Sharing RAYMOND WEIL’s values very closely, Kamal Watch Co. is a family business, proud of its independence and passionate about its profession. Many personalities and the media attended, to celebrate the occasion in the heart of a prestigious boutique.

A new showcase in Puna
On 13 June, it was in the centre of the city of Puna, that RAYMOND WEIL inaugurated a shop in shop at C.T. Pundole & Sons. This family business has been devoted to luxury watchmaking for 5 generations and enjoys an unrivalled location for luxury shopping on the famous “MG Road”.
