To celebrate its 50th anniversary, RAYMOND WEIL unveils a new expression of Toccata Heritage, in homage to the women who have helped shape its history.
Celebrating fifty years of independent watchmaking, RAYMOND WEIL presents a new expression of Toccata Heritage, a ladies’ watch inspired by one of the Maison’s most iconic 1977 creations. This elegant reissue reinterprets classic watchmaking codes for the modern woman. Available in nine references, the Toccata Heritage embodies timeless elegance, with every detail reflecting the subtle balance between the feminine watchmaking heritage at the heart of the Geneva-based Maison and a distinctly contemporary design.
A tribute to fifty years of independent watchmaking
As RAYMOND WEIL celebrates fifty years of independent watchmaking this year, the Geneva-based Maison pays tribute to the women who have been part of its journey from the very beginning. Women account for nearly 40% of the brand’s revenue, and this creation is a heartfelt tribute to them.
The Toccata Heritage draws inspiration from an iconic 1977 timepiece. Its delicately proportioned round case, combined with its soft, graceful profile, evokes the watchmaking aesthetics of the 1950s to 1970s. While the original proportions have been faithfully preserved, every element has been refined through contemporary engineering and elevated finishing, in keeping with the standards of modern Swiss watchmaking and the Maison itself.
“With this creation, we wanted to celebrate the women who have played an integral role in the history of RAYMOND WEIL. This timepiece is more than just a reissue; it embodies the dialogue between our heritage and modern femininity. The Toccata Heritage is a contemporary interpretation of a classic ladies’ watch.”

An icon, reimagined
The Toccata Heritage is delicate without being fragile, sophisticated but never ostentatious. It reveals its character through a series of carefully considered details.
Its crown, a signature feature of the Toccata Heritage collection, is set with a deep blue lacquer cabochon that subtly mirrors the colour of the hands. The Roman numerals have been entirely redesigned, lending the dial a more confident graphic presence, while the minute track, now positioned around the outer edge of the dial, provides improved readability.
The Glass Box crystal is another defining feature, delicately amplifying the way light interacts with the dial. This construction creates a subtle sense of depth and gives the impression of a softly domed dial, further enhancing the piece’s vintage charm.
Elegance in every detail
The double gadroons framing the case accentuate its jewellery-like character, while certain versions feature a diamond-set bezel, adding a touch of radiance and sophistication. Paired with either a lizard-effect calfskin strap or an integrated metal bracelet, the Toccata Heritage exudes effortless elegance, seamlessly balancing watchmaking heritage with contemporary style.
Underneath its elegant exterior lies a Swiss Made quartz movement, guaranteeing precision and effortless everyday wear. The 28 mm steel case, available in stainless steel or with a rose gold or yellow gold PVD finish, is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and combines comfort, elegance and lasting durability.
