Bringing luxury watchmaking to a broader audience: The second hand that changes everything

RAYMOND WEIL continues to grow its millesime collection with six new 35 mm timepieces, reaffirming its commitment to delivering refined, contemporary, and accessible Swiss watchmaking.

Winner of the prestigious 2023 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in the Challenge category, the millesime Petite Seconde has established itself as a benchmark model among watches inspired by the heritage of Swiss horology. As the family-run Geneva brand nears its 50th anniversary in 2026, it introduces four new Petite Seconde and two new Central Second models, crafted for slimmer wrists while maintaining their unique DNA—vintage styling and traditional horological codes.

“The millesime collection reflects both our dedication to Swiss watchmaking traditions and our drive to innovate while staying accessible. With these new models, we continue our mission to offer refined timepieces that honor our legacy and speak to the watch enthusiasts of tomorrow.”
Elie Bernheim, CEO of RAYMOND WEIL

Small diameters are making waves: Spotlight on the 35 mm millesime Petite Seconde

Inspired by the GPHG award-winning 2023 model in the Challenge category, these four new 35 mm millesime Petite Seconde watches preserve the vintage spirit and fine horological details that defined the collection’s success.

Each timepiece highlights Swiss craftsmanship and a new, more sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic that RAYMOND WEIL seeks to infuse into its designs. The subtly contrasting sector dial ensures perfect legibility with textured detailing, while the small seconds hand at 6 o’clock—framed by a recessed ring—adds visual balance. The domed sapphire crystal, a nod to classic watch design, enhances the retro feel, and the automatic mechanical movement ensures flawless accuracy and reliability.

These new editions are offered in four distinct color palettes with unique finishing combinations, showcasing elegant contrasts and harmony between materials and tones:

  • A salmon dial with a stainless-steel case and grey strap (ref. 2130-STC-80001)
  • An anthracite dial with mint-colored minute track and small second, a steel case, and a patinated brown leather strap (ref. 2130-STC-60001)
  • A silver dial, steel case, and grey strap (ref. 2130-STC-65001)
  • A cream dial with a rose gold PVD case and burgundy strap, with lugs set with 16 lab-grown diamonds (ref. 2130-C5S-64001)

Small is beautiful: When the central second hand redefines elegance

Further enhancing the collection, RAYMOND WEIL adds two new references featuring a central second hand. These more dynamic models offer a clean and elegant design—perfectly balancing tradition and modernity. Their structured sector dials highlight contrasting finishes that lend a distinctly contemporary look.

These two refined variations include:

  • A sage green dial (ref. 2125-ST-52011), offering delicate tonal depth that changes subtly with the light
  • A sophisticated cream dial (ref. 2125-STS-64001), paired with a case set with 16 lab-grown diamonds for a touch of refined elegance

A five-link stainless steel bracelet offers fluidity and comfort, while the satin-finished and beveled bezel catches light with graceful ease. The Super-LumiNova® hands and hour markers ensure legibility in all lighting conditions. Powered by an automatic movement, these models uphold the brand’s dedication to quality and precision. Elegant, innovative, and expertly crafted, they add new depth to the millesime line—celebrating refinement and the accessible side of luxury.

The 35 mm millesime collection is now available, with prices ranging from CHF 1,575 to CHF 2,450.

A Trio of Chronographs with Subtle Vintage Flair

Continuing the momentum, RAYMOND WEIL unveils three new chronographs for the millesime collection. These models exhibit a timeless design with well-balanced proportions and vintage-inspired elegance, drawn from the golden age of classic watchmaking.

A true icon of contemporary watchmaking, the chronograph is enjoying a spectacular revival. Valued by collectors for its technical complexity, versatile design, and unique aesthetic, it has become an essential piece in any serious collection. RAYMOND WEIL’s take is sophisticated and refined, offering balanced proportions and exceptional readability.

These three new chronographs feature three sub-dials placed at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, seamlessly integrated into a sleek, subtly retro layout that blends visual harmony with mechanical precision. They’re powered by the RW5030 caliber, an automatic mechanical chronograph movement with an impressive 62-hour power reserve.

The sector dials, optimized for clarity, draw inspiration from the iconic “reverse panda” layout loved by watch enthusiasts.

  • The stainless-steel model sports an anthracite dial with silver sub-dials and vintage-style Super-LumiNova® indices.
  • The more luxurious rose gold PVD-coated steel version pairs a black dial with white counters and luminous markers, delivering a dressier, more classic feel.

Obelisk-style hands, brushed and luminescent, ensure clear time reading at a glance.

The 39 mm round case is water-resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM) and has a thoughtfully crafted profile with a slim 12.9 mm thickness for optimal wrist comfort. A domed “glassbox”-style sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on both sides, reinforces the vintage aesthetic. The transparent case back reveals the beautifully finished movement inside.

Finishing touches elevate each model:

  • The rose gold and black version features a supple black calfskin leather strap for a refined look
  • The anthracite model is paired with a camel calfskin strap for casual elegance
  • The stainless-steel version comes with a deployant clasp for added security and functionality

With their precise design, measured proportions, and inspired yet modern spirit, these chronographs are designed for a clientele that values authenticity, balanced lines, and subtle references to horological history.

The millesime collection continues to bridge heritage and modern-day desire, offering a thoughtful, stylish take on the contemporary chronograph. At the intersection of form and function, these new additions reflect a distinctive approach to watchmaking—elegant, sporty, and accessibly priced.
