Maestro Petite Seconde Or Rose

Like an orchestra conductor who leads into a symphony to the rhythm of his baton, RAYMOND WEIL reveals the notes of its 2012 musical score, bar by bar. The new maestro Petite Seconde Or Rose (maestro Small Seconds Rose Gold), the second crescendo in its emblematic collection, is written with elegance and pose on its musical staff. Presenting a striking yet charming contrast between a deep black dial and rose gold indexes and hands, this prestigious timepiece offers the amateur a new way of seeing the time.

Man, needing to master the changes surrounding him, invented the notion of time, which, whether as a basic property of the universe or the product of intellectual observation, has become increasingly precious. Through its horological instruments, RAYMOND WEIL is magnifying this richness and, at the same time, paying homage to it. Thus, each hour, each minute and each second become a matter for contemplation and interpretation.

The maestro Petite Seconde Or Rose, as its name indicates, features the seconds-hand, which is placed delicately in a small counter zone at 6 o’clock. Its refined simplicity contrasts with the Clou de Paris decor of the black galvanic dial. All around this dark-colored central area, the rose gold Roman numerals seem to emerge into the daylight and come to meet the hour and minute hands at regular intervals. The ensemble is housed in a sublime 39.5mm rose gold PVD case, resolutely guarding the precision of its time. The beating of its mechanical heart is clearly visible through its sapphire crystal case back. This infinitely elegant timepiece is mounted on a brown, calfskin, alligator-style strap, embellished with saddle-stitching and an ardillon buckle, in the purest watchmaking tradition.

Timeless, classic, refined, the maestro Petite Seconde Or Rose interprets the codes of time with virtuosity, while still remaining loyal to the original score.
