Competition planning:
Start of the competition: Monday October 1st 2012
Registrations to the competition will start from this date. Contestants should register on this web page.
Registration deadline: Friday November 30th 2012, 11:00 GMT
Competition selection: from December 3rd to December 14th 2012
The jury will select 20 pictures which are the most accomplished according to them.
Online voting: December 19th 2012 to January 20th 2013, 11:00 GMT
The works of the 20 finalists will be presented on Facebook and fans of our Facebook page will have the opportunity to vote for the pictures they like best. The artist who got the most votes will win the Contest.
Award: date to be determined
The jury will announce the winner of the "RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Contest” as voted online by our Facebook fans.
Requirements:
- Theme: Precision is my Inspiration
- Number of photos: 1
- Format: JPG only
- Dimensions: 1600 x 1600 pixels maximum
- Weight: 1Mo maximum
- Resolution: 72 dpi (smaller resolution will not be accepted - Please note the winner will be asked to provide a 300 dpi version of the submitted picture)
Award & Prize:
The RAYMOND WEIL International Photography Prize will be awarded by the jury:
- US $ 5,000
- Exhibition in a recognized art gallery
- RAYMOND WEIL will support the artist by communicating on him/her and his/her works
The official jury:
The jury will be composed of RAYMOND WEIL staff members and people close to the company and involved in the arts.
